HydroVoid™
Individual highly voided and high strength plastic units compose the HydroVoid™ stormwater attenuation tank. The units are assembled on site to form an underground tank structure for the purpose of stormwater attenuation.
An attenuation tank is made up of a number of key components which include the modular units, a waterproof geomembrane (for attenuation systems) or a filter geotextile for infiltration systems. Depending on the nature of the ground conditions, an appropriate protection geotextile must be selected to protect the geomembrane from damage that might be caused by sharp material backfill. The waterproof geomembrane must be sealed around pipe penetrations at the inlet and outlet and also a flow control device must be fitted at the outlet so that the tank will fill when flow conditions exceed the limit of discharge from the site.
FLI technicians have extensive experience in the installation of all these components and we can provide the peace of mind associated with single point contractor responsibility for complete project delivery.
