American Environmental Group, Ltd. (AEG) manages and constructs the nation’s first Solar Energy Cover project for Republic Services, Inc.  The project includes an exposed geomembrane cover with 1,050 thin-film flexible photovoltaic panels adhered directly to the geomembrane.  The Solar Energy Cover serves as the site’s landfill closure system and produces renewable, domestic energy to supply the site’s power requirements.
