12. RESPONSIBILITY FOR GEOMEMBRANE LINER

The Installer will retain all responsibility for the geomembrane in the landfill cell until acceptance by the Owner as identified in contract documents or the project specifications. Stages at which acceptance could occur are when:

verification of the adequacy of all seams and repairs, including associated testing has been provided by the CQA consultant;

geomembranes and all geosynthetics have been safely covered; and

the CQA Consultant has verified that installation has been completed in compliance with all Contract documents, Project Specifications, the CQA Plan, and to an adequate level of workmanship.
