Standard: 10321:1992 Tensile Test for Joints/Seams by Wide-Width Method Author Agency: ISO
The test method is based on gripping a specimen, 200 mm wide and containing a joint/seam, across its entire width in the clamps of a tensile testing machine, operated at a prescribed rate of extension, and application of a longitudinal force (perpendicular to the seam axis) until the joint/seam ruptures. Procedures for measuring the tensile properties of both conditioned and wet specimens are included.

Standard: 11465:1993 Soil quality -- Determination of dry matter and water content on a mass basis -- Gravimetric method Author Agency: ISO
The method specified can be applied to all types of soil samples. Different procedures are specified for air-dried soil samples, e.g. samples pretreated according to ISO 11464, and for field-moist soil samples. Its principle is drying soil samples to constant mass at 105 °C and using the difference in mass of an amount of soil before and after the drying procedure to calculate the dry matter and water contents on a mass basis. For the determination of soil water content on a volume basis, refer to ISO 11461.

Standard: 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems -- Requirements Author Agency: ISO
ISO 9001:2000 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization 1) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements, and 2) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirements.
All requirements of this International Standard are generic and are intended to be applicable to all organizations, regardless of type, size and product provided.
Where any requirement(s) of this International Standard cannot be applied due to the nature of an organization and its product, this can be considered for exclusion.
Where exclusions are made, claims of conformity to this International Standard are not acceptable unless these exclusions are limited to requirements within clause 7, and such exclusions do not affect the organization's ability, or responsibility, to provide product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements.

Standard: 9004:2000 Quality Management and Quality System Elements (guidelines) Author Agency: ISO
This International Standard provides guidelines beyond the requirements given in ISO 9001 in order to consider both the effectiveness and efficiency of a quality management system, and consequently the potential for improvement of the performance of an organization. When compared to ISO 9001, the objectives of customer satisfaction and product quality are extended to include the satisfaction of interested parties and the performance of the organization.
This International Standard is applicable to the processes of the organization and consequently the quality management principles on which it is based can be deployed throughout the organization. The focus of this International Standard is the achievement of ongoing improvement, measured through the satisfaction of customers and other interested parties.
This International Standard consists of guidance and recommendations and is not intended for certification, regulatory or contractual use, nor as a guide to the implementation of ISO 9001.

Standard: ISO 13433:2006 Geosynthetics -- Dynamic perforation test (cone drop test)
Flexible cellular polymeric materials -- Polyurethane foam for laminate use -- Specification Author Agency: ISO
ISO 13433:2006 specifies a method to determine the resistance of geosynthetics to penetration by a steel cone dropped from a fixed height. The degree of penetration is an indication of the behaviour of the geosynthetic when sharp stones are dropped on its surface.
The method is generally applicable to geosynthetics. However, the validity of this test for some types of products should be considered carefully, as the test principle may not be applicable.
