 Dear Customers, Suppliers and Friends:
It has been almost a year since we at BTL announced our pending move to the new facility in Prineville, Oregon. With the fuel prices rising, airlines declining and the economy in general perceived to be on shaky ground I thought it would be nice for you to read of some successes rather than all the negatives, whether real or implied, that we all seem to be hearing on a day to day basis.
Our move to the new facility, for the most part, went seamlessly. This is a great testament to the dedication and hard work of all of our employees. We lost little time, had no accidents or missing orders and saw very little interruption or glitches during what was a fairly large undertaking. Now that we are settled in we are definitely enjoying the new space and utilizing it as we had hoped and planned. Of note we just recently shipped our largest single 20 mil liner panel at over 450 feet long, 105,000 sq.ft. total and 8000+ pounds. I am unaware of any one else in our industry with such capacity and I am pleased to report we had room to spare.
On the sales front we are once again expanding by opening another regional office in Florida. Located in Ft. Myers, this office should be up and running by the 21st of July. We look forward to the ability to increase our market share in the SE region and be able to provide the area and our customers with a more personalized and local level of service. In closing, based on the new facility, our regional sales offices in Wisconsin and Florida and our continually expanding relationships nationwide with distributors and installers BTL is well placed to be a competitive and growing leader in the liner industry. Our commitment to our customers and suppliers is stronger than ever and I look forward to all of our continued success in the future.
