IECA's Facebook Community Reaches 500 "Likes"

IECA25 August 2010 - The International Erosion Control Association (IECA) is pleased to announce that the official association Facebook page has passed the 500 "likes" mark. This milestone was celebrated by awarding one Facebook community member with a $25 gift card. IECA would like to congratulate member Kent Stevenson of Stevenson Supply in Santa Rosa, CA for winning the drawing. Though membership in IECA was not necessary to win the drawing, Stevenson will be awarded an additional $10 gift card as a thank you for being a member of IECA.

IECA has been an active part of the Facebook community since 2008, providing industry professionals with updates on the annual conference, education and events. IECA Association Development Director, Meg Tully, CAE, had this to say of the landmark, "We are so pleased with the engagement of members and non-members alike on our Facebook page. This is such a great way for people in the same business to communicate, swap ideas and network with each other, and it also provides an easy way for us to update people on our news and programs. Congratulations to Kent Stevenson for winning the drawing, and many thanks to him for his support as one of our active members."

IECA's official Facebook page may be found at http://www.facebook.com/erosioncontrol.
