Call for Papers: GRI-24 - "Enhancing Sustainability Using Geosynthetics"

Geosynthetic Institute (GSI) Logo25 February 2010 - The Geosynthetic Institute (GSI) will host its 24th conference in Dallas, Texas in March 2011. It will be embedded into the three-day Geo-Frontiers 2011, which is being co-organized by ASCE's Geo-Institute, the North American Geosynthetics Society (NAGS), and the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI).

The title of the GRI-24 Conference will be:

"Enhancing Sustainability Using Geosynthetics"

While the papers themselves must be geosynthetics-related, the topic should revolve around some aspects of sustainability. For example, comparing carbon dioxide footprints and financial costs of alternative options (geosynthetics versus conventional) are ideal. Other variations regarding sustainability will also be considered.

If you, or a colleague, have a title and brief abstract to be considered please send it to us by 31 May 2010.
