Environmental Protection, Inc. (EPI) is a dynamic company that has been providing geomembranes for environmental applications since 1980. As a trend-setter in the industry, EPI implemented new technology such as Dual Track Welding and Air Channel Testing using Thermal Welding and the Wolschon Test long before they were industry standard. EPI is the pioneer in thermal welding of PVC Geomembranes and worked to develop the methodology to air channel test PVC field seams. EPI has initiated and authored three industry standard ASTM specifications. We are currently seeking a Geomembrane Installation Supervisor to work on the largest geomembrane project in North America located in Columbus, Ohio.

You will be responsible for overseeing daily installation activities of multiple crews doing multiple tasks on one site. A highly organized leader able to perform under pressure in this fast paced project is a must for this position. This World Class Project requires the highest level of quality while adhering to project specifications and safety procedures. The primary responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the installation of composite geomembrane liner system.
  • Coordinate all aspects of installation to maximize efficiency and maintain quality of final product.
  • Coordinate & communicate with project management and onsite foremen.
    1. Assist with project planning
    2. Oversight of geosynthetic material deployment crews
    3. Oversight of geosynthetic seaming crews
    4. Oversight of quality control crews
  • Manage project according to Company's standard policies & procedures and in accordance with customer/project specifications.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Previous experience installing geomembrane systems with knowledge of on-site quality control, material testing procedures and construction safety requirements is a major factor.
  • Minimum of 2 years of construction experience.
  • Minimum grade 12 education with valid driver's license
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Good supervisory, training, leadership and communication skills
  • A proven track record of safety, quality, and productivity.

The Region Engineer (RE) will act as the technical expert and representative with regard to TenCate Geosynthetics' products and services. RE will typically be assigned to support TCG sales regions. RE will work with Region Managers to develop and implement a plan to market TCG products to the specifying community. Will routinely conduct presentations for technical audiences in private and public engineering firms, at industry trade shows and to the distributor network.

TenCate Geosynthetics North America provides innovative industrial textile products and knowledge to the geosynthetic segement of the construction industry, and to niche markets where we can leverage our technological competencies, throughout the Americas. We do this by processing synthetic raw materials into reliable, quality textiles which improve customers' performance.
