ABOUT 11 ICG

The International Conference on Geosynthetics is held every four years. It is the global gathering point for members of the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS). The conference was last held in Berlin, Germany in September 2014. In 2018, the Korean Geosynthetics Society (KGSS)—a chapter of the IGS—will host 11 ICG.

Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities are available.

GeoMEast 2018 International Congress and Exhibition @ MENA House Hotel
Nov 24 – Nov 28 all-day

The GeoMEast 2018 International Congress and Exhibition is one of the leading Geosynthetics and Geotechnical Congresses in the Middle East. The event will be held to be held 24 – 28 November 2018 at the MENA House Hotel in Cairo, Egypt. Geosynthetics has a major role in the technical program. Theme: “Sustainable Civil Infrastructures: Structural Integrity.”

Hundreds of presentations will be offered and the well-attended congress will enable networking among engineers, agency officials, and other stakeholders from the still rapidly advancing Middle East infrastructure sector. Significant international support is present, with organizations such as the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, the Deep Foundations Institute, the Canadian Geotechnical Society, the German Geotechnical Society, and many others involved.
