The HUESKER Group has restructured its base reinforcement products, an endeavor that has led to a new base reinforcement brand: Basetrac®. The change in marketing is effective immediately. The Basetrac family includes the company’s well-established products, such as Fortrac® (biaxial), Fornit®, Base, Duogrid®, Comtrac®, Sefitec® and HaTe®.
In a statement on the change, the company noted that the rebranding “simplifies product selection and provides construction companies and transport engineers with single-source solutions for all application areas.”
BASE REINFORCEMENT & A CALCULATION TOOL
The Basetrac products are engineered for excellent interaction flexibility, high reliability, and cost-effectiveness. As rolled goods, they enable simple handling and installation on base reinforcement sites.
They are used as base reinforcement for permanent and temporary traffic areas, working platforms, and railway applications. With biaxial geogrid applications, the Basetrac line offers standard tensile strengths from 20 to 80 kN/m. Higher tensile strength polypropylene and polyester materials and polyvinylalcohol (PVA) geogrids are also available for special applications.
In establishing a new brand, HUESKER has not only simplified its product portfolio structure, it has supported it with a web application: BaseCalculator.
