Base Course Reinforcement SF11-13, 15, and 61-62 are composed of high molecular weight, high tenacity multifilament polyester yarns that are woven into a stable network placed under tension. The high strength polyester yarns are coated with a polymer coating. SF Geogrids are inert to biological degradation and are resistant to naturally encountered chemicals, alkalis and acids.
Uniaxial Geogrids SF 20, 35, 55, 65, 80, 90, 110 and 350 are composed of high molecular weight, high tenacity multifilament polyester yarns that are woven into a stable network placed under tension. The high strength polyester yarns are coated with a PVC material. SF SERIES Geogrids are inert to biological degradation and are resistant to naturally encountered chemicals, alkalis and acids. SF SERIES Geogrids are typically used for soil reinforcement applications such as retaining walls, steepened slopes, embankments, sub-grade stabilization, and embankments over soft soils and waste containment applications. |

Synteen incorporates wide width weaving and coating, as well as on-loom coating and curing processes to manufacture a wide range of textile products. Synteen’s primary focus involves producing geogrid soil and base reinforcement products. Produced from high strength woven polyester, Synteen geogrids provide support and stabilization to soils, slopes, embankments, retaining walls, foundations, and flexible pavement structures. Our proficient and expert operation allows Synteen to produce the most efficient and cost effective geogrid products available. Flexible and progressive manufacturing allows Synteen to create custom, project specific solutions for our customers. Synteen currently offers two lines of polyester geogrid products. Synteen SF20 through SF350 geogrids for soil stabilization applications, such as reinforced slopes and mse retaining walls, provides ultimate tensile strengths ranging from 1,900 to 27,390 pounds per foot. The SF20 through SF350 geogrids come in a variety of roll widths and lengths, offering efficient installation and product usage. Synteen SF11 through SF75 geogrids are manufactured from base reinforcement in flexible pavement and structural foundation systems. These geogrids can increase the service life of pavement and foundation systems or offer a more cost effective alternative to thick aggregate base courses. The SF11 through SF75 geogrids are also available in a variety of roll dimensions, including master roll sizes. Synteen products have been through and continue to undergo the most extensive testing available. In addition to a variety of high profile private sector projects, our products have been approved and utilized by various state Department’s of Transportation, the Federal Highway Administrations, The United States Forest Service and the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
