Profile Soil Solutions Software (PS³), accessed at www.profilePS3.com, is the industry’s first and only web-based
design and selection tool that integrates erosion control engineering with agronomic excellence.

PS³ software will help you develop holistic, sustainable solutions for cost-effective erosion control, vegetation
establishment and subsequent reductions in sediment and other pollutants from leaving disturbed sites and
entering water bodies. It is the only available resource that integrates Hydraulically-applied Erosion Control
Products (HECP), Rolled Erosion Control Products (RECP), Sediment Retention Fiber Rolls (SRFR) and Prescriptive Agronomic Formulations (PAF). To assure immediate and long-term vegetation, PS³ addresses five critical design considerations. These distinct considerations include: soils, species selection, erosion and sediment control materials selection, installation, and inspection and maintenance.

In addition, on-site consultation is available anywhere in the North America from the industry’s broadest team
of agronomic and erosion control experts. Additional technical assistance is also available from leaders in the
erosion and sediment control industry; pioneers who’ve helped develop the cutting edge technologies that are
defining today’s standards of performance.

PROFILE Products' Employees Achieve Certification, Testing Success

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. (20 April 2009) — PROFILE Products LLC is pleased to announce that Michael Robeson, P.E., the company's manager of technical services, recently achieved certification as a Certified Professional in Storm Water Quality (CPSWQ).

Additionally, Profile's Andy Constantine is accredited as a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC). Constantine joined Profile Products in 2006, and has worked in the erosion control industry since 1992.

"The efforts of Michael and Andy have helped further Profile's prominent role in the industry, and we're very proud of the work they have put in to achieve their respective certifications," said Marc S. Theisen, CPESC, CPSWQ, vice president of erosion control solutions. "It's important to take advantage of continuing education opportunities in the industry and they both demonstrate a commitment to increasing their contributions."

Robeson joined Profile Products in 2007, bringing more than 10 years of experience in hydraulics and the erosion and sediment control industry. His experience includes developing, testing and evaluating many erosion control systems, site specific design and consultation, design and selection software development and active involvement in industry organizations, including ASTM, ECTC, IECA and ASCE.

Constantine serves as a market development manager for Profile, representing the Southeast and parts of the Great Lakes region. His background includes work at SI Corporation and Northwest Linings, focusing on geotextiles and rolled erosion control products.

"Taking the CPESC Exam has helped me to better understand the erosion control challenges the engineering and construction trade communities face when dealing with any earth disturbing activity," Constantine explained. "I am now better prepared to provide appropriate erosion control solutions for our customers while understanding the dynamics of storm water management and the science behind estimating erosion and soil loss."

The Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control designation recognizes expert knowledge in the principles, practices, and legislation of erosion and sediment control. CPESC activities include the development and review of Erosion and Sediment Control Plans, installation of erosion and sediment control practices and other related activities such as assisting regulators, authoring handbooks or educating the public.

A Certified Professional in Storm Water Quality is recognized as an expert in addressing issues affecting storm water quality. Such activities include the development and review of NPDES permit applications, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), installation and inspection of storm water management practices, as well as other related activities, such as assisting regulators, authoring handbooks or educating the public.

The CPSWQ program is administered by CPESC, Inc., whose founding members are the Soil and Water Conservation Society and the International Erosion Control Association (IECA), two leading non-profit organizations dedicated to providing resources, training and more for professionals in the erosion, storm water and sediment control fields.
