 22 February 2010 - This week, our coverage of ASTM International's standards update includes two work items from Committee D35 on Geosynthetics. The first is "Standard Guide for Selection of Techniques for Electrical Detection of Potential Leak Paths in Geomembrane" and the second "Guide for Specification of Planar Drainage Geocomposites." Various plastic pipe standards have been proposed or revised. These come from both Committee F17 on Plastic Piping Systems and D20 on Plastics.
Finally, before moving on to the list, we want to take a moment to congratulate our industry colleague Robert Mackey who has been named Chairman of Committee D35 on Geosynthetics. Read about Bob's appointment here.
