Geotechnical and Geosynthetic Engineering Researcher to research and conduct all soil, Geosynthetic Clay Liners (SCL) and soil-geosynthetic tests to solve all geosythentic soil interaction issues including soil engineering properties index testing, high-end geotechnical testing that includes tri-axial compression/extension 1-D consolidation test and constant rate of strain (CRS) consolidation tests; control all traditional geotechnical laboratory testing; lead research projects including Connection and Pullout Testing and all associated data reduction, and report generation. Must have MS in Civil Engineering (in Geotechnical Specialty) and 2 years experience in Geosynthetic Research. Especially familiar with basic soil engineering properties index testing. EOE

The position will report to the Vice President - Business Development. The job’s scope will be the sales and marketing of  Checkmate's geosynthetic product solutions for a variety of geotechnical and civil engineering applications in Georgia and neighboring states. It offers great growth potential for the right, motivated candidate. Candidates should have successful sales experience, preferably with engineered products and a knowledge of geosynthetics.
