The 10th anniversary conference will be a celebration of the success of the cables industry over the past ten years, with many special presentations and events. The decennial edition will take place 9-11 March 2010 at the Maritim Hotel in Cologne, Germany. Cables 2009 attracted 250 attendees from across the global supply chain, bringing together cable producers, raw materials suppliers and equipment manufacturers. Cables 2010 will follow on from this success and aims to provide lively interaction between the international panel of speakers and delegates. The discussion should stimulate debate in all sectors and the event will provide a comprehensive overview of the latest material, technology and business trends.

PVC Formulation 2010 will take place from 16-18 March 2010 at the Maritim Hotel in Cologne, Germany. The conference starts with registration and an evening reception on the first day, followed by a 2-day programme of expert presentations. PVC is one of the most widely used polymers and formulation depends on the application, from pipes and profiles to packaging and medical devices. There are many types of additives available and different methods of processing. Formulation is a specialist skill and can be used to add value to differentiate products. This event provides an international forum for all companies involved in compounding PVC to learn about the latest technical developments and market trends. At this time, there is a focus on reformulation because of the requirements to replace lead stabilisers and the issues with phthalate plasticisers. Bauma 2010 features more than a half million square meters (5,382,131 sq ft) of exhibition space. The international focus brings in market leaders from all construction sectors.
